Holding educational classes about Wildlife Habitats & biodiversity of Iran for children and adolescents in schools in Tehran

The first friendship with nature course for schools is going to be held by Plan for Land Society experts with the collaboration of Sepehr-e-Ma’refat educational complex. The purpose of these courses is to inform and familiarize children with the nature surrounding them, how to live with it and realizing the importance of protecting and preserving the nature.
In this educational course which is going to be held in Sepehr-e-Marefat’s all girls middle and elementary school and all boys middle school in Tehran’s 1st district, the students will learn different subjects such as life cycle, jungle, sea, desert and mountain ecosystems (plants and animals of these areas and their way to adjust to their habitats), living in the nature and camping techniques.
Educational trips with the purpose of familiarity with different ecosystems, such as desert, mountain, jungle and areas like national parks and also observing a one night educational camp in the school zone will enable the students to use their theoretical knowledge to save the beautiful nature of Iran.
We believe that students are a country’s key capitals and the future of a country’s environment depends on the training and educational methods used on these capitals in the society.
In modern societies the scientific, sociological and cultural know ledges given to children in different ways, will slowly give them a personal, cultural and sociological identity along with a feeling of nationalism. For this reason making children sensitive to environmental issues with the use of interesting theoretical and experimental teaching methods is one of the best and most effective ways to save the beautiful nature of Iran. The students, who are taught in this way, will play the role of propagandists for the future generations. Because children are the key creators of the culture of preserving and protecting the natural resources of this land.
We hope that children will preserve and restore the nature of Iran by using these skills.
